The mandoline has five interchangeable, sharp-edged blade attachments, which can be used separately or in combination to create a full range of perfect cuts. By simply turning a knob, slice thickness is easily adjusted up to a maximum of ten millimetres. As well, it is possible to cut ingredients so thin that one can almost see through them. By combining a julienne blade and a slicing blade, cooks can cut ingredients into fine strips in three widths – three, seven and ten millimetres.
For ultimate safety, there is a rubberized base and a food holder to hold food securely and protect fingers.
